Rocky Road is a Kashmiri delicacy. Rocky Road is a popular Kashmiri snack. People use it for many purposes. The name Rocky Road was originally derived from the Rocky Mountain Range rock feature, which was used to prepare the snack. The name Rocky Road today is associated more with the American West than the name Kashmir. In Kashmiri North America, both terms are interchangeable.
Rocky Road is a type or nut made with milk chocolate, marshmallows, and other ingredients that can vary by region. It was previously known as “Taffy” in British-influenced areas. However, the American/British name is now the most popular in the UK. It is also known in India as Roop, and it is loved by children due to its soft texture.
Rocky Road’s basic recipe is a slab made of graham cracker crumb, filled with softened butter and cream cheese. Two eggs, two teaspoons marshmallow Puree, one teaspoon of sugar, three to four fresh raspberries, some milk or soft condensed dairy, and some milk are the ingredients. You will need fresh berries, half a teaspoon syrup or lemon juice to make the syrup. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. You can also add raisins or dried fruits to enhance the richness of the recipe.
Ingredients :
12 marshmallows, quartered using scissors
2 x 55g Maltesers (my favorite), Milky Way, or Crunchie
140g tea biscuits in rich, roasted form
3 tbsp golden syrup
300g dark chocolate, cut into squares
100g butter roughly chopped
Method :
1. Melt the butter, syrup and chocolate in a large saucepan on a low heat.
Heat, stirring often until smooth. Let cool for approximately 15 minutes.

Put the mixture into a square 17cm/6 1/2-inch tin lined in non-stick baking parchment
Spread the mixture until it is roughly level.
3) Allow to cool, then remove the paper from the tin. Cut into
fingers. Keep them in an airtight container
